Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will work collaboratively with the Consumer Services Manager to provide branch leadership and deliver superior customer service. This role will assist with the direction and administration of branch operations, ensuring established policies and procedures are followed with an emphasis on audit controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the supervision of Branch Operations, Audit, and Security standards
  • Complete Performance Reviews, Touchpoints, Crucial Conversations, and Employee Development with Direct Reports
  • Hire, train, and schedule staff to maintain service standards
  • Manage a client portfolio that contributes to the growth of the Branch while building and maintaining relationships
  • Process loan applications and assist branch staff with loan processes & recommendations while building their skill set
  • Operate a teller cash drawer and cover teller line when needed
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and follow up on any service issues
  • Support the Bank's initiatives, such as the employee engagement process, to promote a team environment where employees are encouraged and supported
  • Participate in the Bank's internal committees to strengthen inter-bank relationships and develop partnerships with business partners
  • Utilize and track sales and opportunities in CRM
  • Participate in community and chamber activities to show the Bank's commitment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least two years of retail branch experience required
  • At least two years of experience in lending required
  • At least one year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Signature Medallion certification obtained within 90 days required
  • Notary Public certification obtained within 30 days required
  • Active community involvement preferred
  • NMLS upon hire is required
