Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of professional services and client service, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review the work of Staff Accountants, if applicable
  • Maintain daily task lists for your team and communicate status in weekly meetings
  • Supervise and own the monthly close process
  • Prepare standard and/or nonstandard journal entries as appropriate
  • Maintain and provide monthly close checklist(s) to the client(s)
  • Reconcile/analyze general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and review monthly financial packages at a detail level
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting, if necessary
  • Assist with budgeting/pro formas, if necessary
  • Prepare property tax returns, business licenses, and annual reports
  • Prepare audit and tax packages, including any coordination and management of follow-up requests
  • Assist with research of accounting guidance as necessary
  • Other tasks assigned by the Controllers or CFO
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 3-5 years previous experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant required
  • High attention to detail, problem solver, and intellectually curious
  • Experience using Intacct, Great Plains, QuickBooks Online, preferred
  • Proficient with intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Products and general comfort with technology
