Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, providing a high level of care and compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
- Perform hemodialysis machine setup and maintenance
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
