Position Overview:
We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for new hires.

The Senior Automotive Technician role demands your extensive experience and technical acumen to effectively diagnose drivability and electrical systems. You will also utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team towards enhanced customer service and satisfaction.


Compensation:
Competitive pay rate of $41.00 per hour.

Our technicians benefit from a performance-driven compensation model known as flat-rate pay. This system rewards skilled professionals with a set amount for each completed task, promoting efficiency and ensuring fair compensation for your expertise and commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals.
  • Stay updated with rapidly evolving automotive technology through ongoing paid formal training.
  • Assist and mentor technicians/mechanics in executing technical tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid automobile driver's license and ability to operate customer and company vehicles.
  • At least 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills through third-party certifications.
  • A.S.E. certification in a minimum of 5 areas (A1-A8, with L1 as one of the five) is required. New hires with similar external qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply.
  • Maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses as applicable.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
