Job Summary

The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach lower-level French language courses either online or face-to-face.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Teaching: Teach French classes as needed, including beginning and intermediate French courses.
  2. Program Meetings: Attend program meetings as determined by the program coordinator.
  3. University Policies: Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance.
  4. Communication: Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
  5. Office Hours: Hold regular office hours.
  6. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

18 graduate hours of French or a Master's degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in French and experience with online teaching, as well as LMS course design experience.
