Adjunct Instructor in Economics

The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach lower-level economics courses either online or face-to-face. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching a one-semester survey course, principles of microeconomics, and/or principles of macroeconomics.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Teach economics classes as needed.
- Attend program meetings as determined by the program coordinator.
- Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance.
- Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
- Hold regular office hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
18 graduate hours of Economics. Graduate degree in related field.
Preferred QualificationsGraduate degree in Economics and experience with online teaching. Experience with Canvas.
