Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the housekeeping department's operations, ensuring that our environments are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment in line with established program standards.
  • Participate in the organization's policies and procedures to ensure proficiency in the role.
  • Develop work and staffing schedules to guarantee adequate service delivery.
  • Facilitate training documentation for all team members.
  • Review and allocate daily work orders based on the community's schedule.
  • Monitor the quality and flow of work to ensure timely completion and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in inspections and evaluate the physical condition of the facilities.
  • Engage in regular staff meetings and collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping efforts.
  • Ensure the department is always in an 'inspection-ready' state.
  • Foster excellent relationships with residents, clients, and all community departments.
  • Manage major projects, ensuring staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of housekeeping supplies.
  • Maintain security for all department-owned property and funds.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State healthcare regulations.
  • Preferred experience in financial accountability.
  • Proficient in digital tools and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
