Job Title: Eye Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at Partners Insight Recruiting.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, assessing eye health, and providing prescriptions for corrective lenses as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of ophthalmic equipment and experience prescribing and fitting corrective lenses.

A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited educational institution and current state optometry license are required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform standard eye exams for patients on a daily basis
  • Check for evidence of disease, injury, or other problems impacting vision
  • Provide prescriptions for corrective lenses as needed
  • Listen to and address patient's questions and concerns
  • Educate patients regarding eyecare and vision correction options
  • Analyze results from all tests conducted and share results with patients
  • Coordinate with the rest of the staff as needed to meet patient's needs
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) required from an accredited educational institution
  • Current state optometry license, valid and in good standing
  • Solid working knowledge of all ophthalmic equipment needed to conduct examinations
  • Experience prescribing and fitting corrective lenses
  • Current medical knowledge of testing and treatments for eye injuries and diseases
  • Continued commitment to remaining up to date on the latest research and techniques
  • History of excellent patient care
