Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and movement within their homes or during outings
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
  • Facilitate clients' participation in physical therapy and prescribed exercises
  • Accompany clients during shopping trips or handle shopping tasks as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, that clients may struggle with
  • Gather and relay information regarding clients' conditions and treatment plans from healthcare professionals and family members
  • Notify healthcare providers and family members of any unusual occurrences
  • Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory
  • Current CPR Certification from a recognized organization
  • Commitment to following health and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with housekeeping and cooking, considering dietary needs
  • Must demonstrate respect, compassion, and a strong bedside manner
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform necessary tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
