Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Receive materials into the organization, verify against invoices, and count or weigh parts to ensure quantity accuracy.
  • Pick parts/materials for shipment, package according to shipping procedures, and fill out necessary paperwork.
  • Perform transactions in the inventory system to update quantities and remove inventory from stock.
  • Operate material moving equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies, to transport products and materials.
  • Issue materials to departments upon request, transacting inventory quantities and delivering parts to work areas.
  • Monitor stockroom inventory and report discrepancies to supervisors.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, with long hours standing and bending, and heavy lifting required.
  • Basic math and computer skills necessary for the position.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • Good attendance and punctuality are essential.
Work Environment

The work environment at Captek International is fast-paced and dynamic. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
