Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiologic procedures using standard, portable, and specialized x-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses or injuries.
  • Work under the supervision of experienced professionals and follow established procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiologic technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology with an associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Registration and Massachusetts licensure required.
  • CPR certification and ability to work extra hours, including rotations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to five years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
  • Able to lift, push, pull without restriction, and use proper body mechanics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
