Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of radiologic procedures using standard, portable, and/or specialized x-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist and follow established procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology with an associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT Registration and Massachusetts licensure required.
- Positive interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull without restriction and use proper body mechanics.
- One to five years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Able to work extra hours, including rotations, and answer telephone calls.
