Position Overview:

The Senior Customer Service Representative (Sr. CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients, primarily through face-to-face interactions, while addressing their branch and rental requirements. The Sr. CSR will acquire knowledge through localized training and practical experience to offer administrative assistance, support customers, and serve as a rental backup in a large metropolitan branch or airport setting.

Compensation: The starting pay for this role is $16.00 / hour.

Full-Time Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming inquiries regarding reservations, pricing, and general information, providing solutions for customers, other branches, insurance firms, dealerships, repair facilities, and other vendors.
  • Manage outgoing communications for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by assisting clients and evaluating their rental needs both in person and via phone.
  • Welcome customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as required.
  • Assist in evaluating the condition of vehicles upon return.
  • Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
  • Promote the company effectively while transporting customers safely and courteously.
  • Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services clearly.
  • May offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other supplementary equipment.
  • Notify management of any known vehicle issues and necessary maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting tasks, including research and billing support, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, generating reports, maintaining supplies, and processing customer billing.
  • Carry out miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Willingness to accept a starting pay of $15.00/hour.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales within retail, guest services, or administrative support is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years is necessary.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on MVR in the past 5 years.
  • Must be willing to adhere to the posted schedule.
