About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Filling Operator to join our production team at KIK Consumer Products. As a key member of our filling operations team, you will be responsible for operating the filler, managing functions such as starting/stopping, speed adjustments, and coordination of controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the filler and maintain operational condition throughout production runs
  • Manage the entire filling operation by controlling filler functions such as starting/stopping, adjusting speeds, coordinating variable speed controls, etc.
  • Maintain vigilance for any disruptions within the filling operation and react quickly to overcome such upsets
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the filler's operational capacities and its operational limitations
  • Identify unsafe conditions and react with proper techniques to correct these conditions
  • Communicate clearly with downline associates, supervisors, managers, and maintenance department
  • Manage alerts to maintenance and management for all maintenance-related issues
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit, kneel, bend at waist, reach, and extend arms
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to function in a range of temperatures
  • Must be physically able to wear PPE
