Associate General Counsel Opportunity

Franklin Point Resources LLC is seeking a highly skilled Associate General Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance on various corporate law matters.

This is a full-time, on-site role that requires strong communication and project management skills. You will work closely with our senior management, investment, finance, IR, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Counsel and investment teams in transaction matters, contract negotiation, and drafting
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel, third-party auditors, tax advisers, fund administrators, and other external service providers
  • Assist with entity formation, compliance monitoring, employment agreements, and policy documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc project oversight and support
Requirements:
  • J.D. and active bar membership in good standing (preferably New York and/or Connecticut)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate/M&A law or in-house experience at an asset management firm
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong contract law knowledge and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
