Adjunct Faculty

This is an exciting opportunity to join the faculty team at New York Institute of Technology as an Adjunct Faculty member in Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching accounting courses for our Manhattan campus's Executive MBA (EMBA) program and will also have the opportunity to teach in our joint MBA program with Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) in China.
Key Responsibilities- Teach accounting courses for the EMBA program, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and financial management.
- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the accounting program.
- Travel to China periodically to teach in the NYIT-JUFE joint MBA program.
- Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) and/or publications in accounting-related journals are desirable.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
