Position Summary

The Marketing and Communications Specialist will develop and maintain marketing and professional communication on behalf of OUR Center and the Aspen Center for Child Development. This role will promote the organizations' brands, drive digital follower expansion, and create content in various formats across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for public relations and media/marketing campaigns to promote OUR Center and the Aspen Center.
  • Utilize various forms of media to promote the organizations and assist in operational goals.
  • Maintain the organizations' websites and social media communications, including posting regular updates and tracking analytics.
  • Develop and deliver presentations for stakeholder groups and community outreach activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media sources to expand visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop communication materials, including brochures and reports.
  • Create compelling content for the organizations' communications channels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, or communications required.
  • Minimum five years' marketing and public relations experience, including media relations in the Human Services arena, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in website development and maintenance.
  • Experience with desktop publishing and presentation software.
  • Bilingual verbal and written skills (English and Spanish) desired.
Working Conditions
  • Regular use of a computer.
  • Light to moderate lifting.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
