Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly companionship and assist with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Deliver personal care services including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, incontinence care, feeding, and other necessary support.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor, empathy for others, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of clients.

Caregiver Requirements:

  • C.N.A, P.C.A, M.A, H.H.A, or relevant personal care experience.
  • A strong desire to assist others and a passion for caregiving.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and a TB skin test (not required to apply, but must be completed prior to orientation).
  • Proof of current Covid-19 testing or vaccination.
  • Reliable transportation, valid automobile insurance, and a current driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 miles (30 to 45 minutes).
  • Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, drug testing, and provide positive work references.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess an approved work permit.
  • We maintain a smoke-free workplace.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Comfort Keepers values candidates with prior experience as a Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar roles.
