Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Design Engineer to join our team as a Naval Architect III. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work on a range of vessels, including steel, aluminum, and composite crafts, from 20' to 250'. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across the full spectrum of naval architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations using first principles and tackle design challenges with creative, practical solutions.
  • Assist Project Managers in boat and vessel design, providing technical expertise to meet client needs.
  • Adhere to and improve our Engineering Standards and Procedures to ensure top-tier quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to document and solve complex design challenges.
  • Complete engineering assignments on time using standard industry software and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in naval architecture or marine engineering with at least 3 years related to small craft design.
  • Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, practices, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (BS/RINA/LR/ISO/USCG/ABYC) and regulatory requirements.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $68,900.00 and $124,550.00 per year.
