Supply Delivery Specialist

About the Role:
The Supply Delivery Technician is a vital member of the Vanderbilt University Maintenance and Operations team, responsible for receiving, sorting, and delivering housekeeping supplies to various buildings across the campus. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
About the Work Unit:
VUMO provides facilities support for construction, renovation, and routine maintenance of University Central space and facilities, as well as housekeeping services for approximately 5.8 million square feet of academic, administrative, residential, and recreational space. The team also manages grounds care for 330 acres, turf care for athletic fields, and utilities for the University Central and the Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort housekeeping supplies
- Deliver housekeeping supplies to custodial closets
- Wash used mops and rags
- Respond to custodial emergency calls
- Operate and perform operator maintenance level to assigned vehicle
- Event Support
Supervisory Relationships:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility, reporting administratively and functionally to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Education and Certifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is necessary. A valid Driver License is required, with a satisfactory driving record.
Experience and Skills:
Previous Street Sweeper experience is preferred, but not required. A customer service-driven attitude is necessary, with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
