Petroleum Supply Specialist Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking a skilled Petroleum Supply Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and shipment of bulk and packaged petroleum products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products
  • Operate specialized pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft
  • Select and submit samples of petroleum-based products for testing
  • Perform petroleum and water accounting activities
  • Test petroleum samples for contamination
  • Repair specialized equipment
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and storage guidelines

Requirements:

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
