We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Associate to join our team at Balance Health. As a key member of our front and back office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, coordinate patient scheduling, and check patients in and out.
- Collect co-pays and payment balances, and manage patient records.
- Assist with daily operations, including room intake procedures and orthotic processes.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and vendors.
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional front and/or back-office environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
- Experience using Athena or similar electronic medical record system.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
- Experience working in a medical practice environment.
- Competitive pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
- Eligibility to participate in company benefit program and 401(k) program.
