Job Title: Sales (IC) Representative

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales (IC) Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, engaging with customers to understand their Medicare options, and managing a book of leads to convert them into sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to enroll customers in Medicare plans, presenting all benefits and services of the appropriate plan.
  • Respond to inquiries from consumers generated via the web, social media, or other online outlets.
  • Engage with current customers to assist them in understanding their Medicare options and the Medicare product portfolio.
  • Manage a book of leads, conducting multiple outbound calls to unsold leads to convert them into sales.
  • Enter and track all leads in the Medicare contact management system and follow up on those leads in a timely manner.
  • Participate in assigned sales team virtual events and special projects, including outbound calls to supplied leads.
  • Provide market and customer insights and feedback on call types and marketing campaigns.
Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and commit to and adhere to a phone schedule and shift.
  • Excellent sales and customer-focused phone skills to create rapport and adhere to CMS-approved call scripting, policy, and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and presentation communication skills, outstanding listening skills, and the ability to probe and conduct a consultative selling approach.
  • Must possess solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent Word skills required; proprietary contact management system (Salesforce) experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of successful direct-to-consumer sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with the senior population preferred.
  • Experience in developing self-generated business preferred.
  • Life and Health Insurance license for the state you reside in.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.
