Position Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Construction Foreman to oversee the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of fire sprinkler technicians and assistants.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
- Ensure that all work performed meets relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other relevant parties to achieve project goals.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members on installation and maintenance practices for fire sprinkler systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within fire sprinkler construction or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of various fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Thorough understanding of fire safety codes and regulations, including NFPA standards.
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
