The Associate Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) will be tasked with establishing the strategy and roadmap for the CIAM Program, overseeing architectural and solution design, and planning and executing IAM solutions. You will assess risk findings and address them promptly, ensuring the resilience of IAM services to effectively safeguard business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of the Ping Suite of products, IBM ISAM, LDAP, and Datapower.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and business units to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Support a multi-year CIAM transformation initiative encompassing strategy, design, implementation, and operationalization of new technologies.
- Design, plan, and deliver solutions for CIAM transformation, which may include IGA/PBAC.
- Lead and manage the engineering team.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to transition new technologies and enhancements.
- Design and implement workforce Access Management solutions and strategies.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Support Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Testing efforts.
- Mentor team members to foster growth and development.
- Communicate ideas and concepts clearly across the organization.
- Adopt a business-first mindset to apply appropriate security controls to protect business assets.
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in IAM.
- Proven experience in architecting, designing, and providing solutions in IAM technologies.
- Experience in defining strategies and roadmaps for CIAM/IAM.
- At least 3 years of experience leading IAM projects or teams.
- Experience in managing large-scale IAM modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Access Management products and the Ping Suite of Products is advantageous.
- Experience with IGA and PBAC is a plus.
- Proficient in designing and developing solutions utilizing security protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, FIDO, and SAML.
- Development experience with XML, XSLT, Java, and/or .Net.
- Experience implementing solutions on IAM tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with SOAP, WSDL, and REST APIs.
- Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment, along with knowledge of server hardware, networking, and general IT infrastructure.
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
