Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at DGR Systems LLC. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise networks that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Architect complex network designs, including firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Develop and maintain technical deliverables, including network assessments, capacity planning, and detailed design documents.
- Engage with the delivery team to provide project design and customer requirements.
- Conduct proof of concepts at prospective customer sites.
- Communicate with the sales team to formulate sales strategies and provide technical support in customer engagements.
- Engage in peer review sessions to aid fellow engineers in optimizing the quality of their deliverables.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with network solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with network switches and access points.
- Experience in the deployment of network and security solutions.
- Professional or Expert level network certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN administration and concepts, including DHCP, DNS, VLANs, NAT, wireless technology, and the ability to configure switches.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining SD-WAN is highly desired.
- In-depth understanding of network engineering, security architecture, and design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to author and follow defined processes and procedures.
- Ability to create network diagrams and detailed design and implementation documentation.
- Ability to architect, design, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN network solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying multi-site environments with VLAN, MPLS, SSL, IPSEC connection points.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team to achieve objectives.
- Ability to follow defined methodologies to ensure a successful outcome of engagements.
- Up-to-date understanding of modern security threats and defense methods.
- Able to clearly communicate detailed technical concepts in both oral and written formats.
- Thorough understanding of modern routing and switching technologies, including cloud networking concepts.
- Proven track record in guiding clients through the evaluation and selection of technical solutions to address business requirements in a consultative manner.
- Must be willing to travel when needed.
