Maintenance Technician

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including washers, dryers, and HVAC systems.
- Setup and adjust TVs and other electronic devices.
- Replace and repair electrical fixtures and circuits.
- Perform plumbing repairs on piping, toilets, urinals, flush valves, faucets, washers' packings, and drain lines.
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for our residents.
- Perform general painting and other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience is required; healthcare experience is highly desirable.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
