Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as well as more complex repairs, such as engine overhauls and transmission replacements.

• Inspect and diagnose diesel vehicles and equipment to identify areas of concern
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Repair and replace diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
• Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer recommended services
• Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems
• Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system
• Schedule and prioritize work derived from driver reports and planned maintenance

• At least 5 years of related experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid drivers license with good driving record
• Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Be a safety oriented individual
• CDL B license and PA Class VII inspection license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided
• Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools
• Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired
