About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Serco North America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and vehicles, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with heavy equipment and vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
