The Project Manager will be responsible for effectively managing multiple construction and mining projects concurrently. This role will work closely with project owners and representatives to ensure high client satisfaction and timely project completion within budget.


The position will coordinate with project superintendents and foremen on field operations and sequence, providing executive-level oversight and direction as required. Key responsibilities include direct responsibility for subcontract and material procurement, developing and managing project schedules and budgets, assisting with site safety documentation, and facilitating subcontractor and supplier coordination and procurement.


Managerial responsibilities for assigned project personnel include primary point of contact with clients through design development and project execution processes. The Project Manager will be able to manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to closeout with minimal oversight or direction. Key skills include developing project budgets, managing budget adherence, issuing subcontractor commitments, and maintaining current project document control logs.


Additional responsibilities include working with the Superintendent to develop project procurement schedules and prioritizing submittal and procurement needs consistent with project schedules. The Project Manager will also assist the Superintendent in corrective action when schedules are not being met by subcontractors. A thorough understanding of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and addenda, is essential for this role.


Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering. Excellent time management and organizational skills are also required, as well as proficiency in building and estimating techniques. Work Environment: This role will primarily work in an office environment, with regular visits to construction and mining sites required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at project and mine locations, including safety glasses, hard hats, and steel-toe boots.
