Transform Lives as an Overnight Counselor

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Awake Overnight Counselors, providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or individual living arrangements. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to empower them to build independence skills or increase their quality of life.

The role of an Awake Overnight Counselor is multifaceted, encompassing administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting individuals with activities of daily living. Additionally, you will be responsible for nightly cleaning and filing tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a Human Services field preferred
* Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury highly desirable
* Strong time management and writing skills essential
* Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months
* Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certification within 150 days of employment

All candidates must successfully pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check.
