CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing sales and profitability for the cooperative through the implementation of sales, marketing, and consulting processes for Cenex products and cooperative services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue for the cooperative.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the cooperative's customer base.
- Prepare and present sales presentations, contracts, bids, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
- Provide training and support to co-op staff and customers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Manage and complete special projects for the local co-op and customers.
- Maintain and promote a strong collaborative, positive, safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of sales, business development, and/or sales business operations.
- Outside sales experience, including presentations, negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
