At Romac Industries, we're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to contribute to the development and enhancement of our innovative waterworks products. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in achieving project objectives within budget and timeline constraints.

Your primary focus will be on the development and enhancement of products, designs, and processes. From initial concept to final implementation, you'll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, including research, planning, design, testing, and analysis.

With a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in one or more technical disciplines, you'll leverage your expertise to resolve production issues, develop testing protocols, and establish production procedures. Your strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills will enable you to make a significant impact on our team.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $83,800-125,700 per year, as well as a range of benefits, including a quarterly discretionary profit-sharing bonus, year-end bonus, paid time off, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own small-scale projects
  2. Leverage experience in one or more technical disciplines to resolve production issues
  3. Develop testing protocol with input from others and execute it
  4. Leverage experience in one or more technical disciplines to develop quality expectations and ensure QA protocols are in place for adherence to standards
  5. Establish production procedures, work instructions, QA matrices, and bills of materials for a single product or a specific production activity

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  2. 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  3. Experience in one or more technical disciplines, including rubber, fabrication, forming, coatings, castings, or machining
  4. Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  5. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
