POSITION OVERVIEW

The chosen candidate will be tasked with executing nuclear medicine techniques in accordance with the established protocols and guidelines of the department to guarantee the highest standard of care for patients.

This role includes informing patients and their families about the procedures, generating high-quality imaging results, maintaining precise records, and ensuring the integrity of equipment through quality control measures.

Moreover, the individual will be responsible for optimizing workflow efficiency within the department, managing inventory supplies, and adhering to ethical and professional standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures as instructed
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding the procedures
  • Generate high-quality imaging and maintain thorough documentation
  • Ensure safety and quality control of equipment
  • Sustain efficient workflow and manage inventory levels

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a recognized Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Clinical expertise with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Additional relevant education or experience is advantageous.
