As a key member of our healthcare team, the Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine plays a crucial role in the utilization and management of radionuclides. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including the procurement, preparation, quality assurance, calculation, identification, administration, disposal, and safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assist authorized personnel in the application of radionuclides.
2. Ensure the quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
3. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
4. Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment.
5. Adhere to safety protocols within the radioactive materials license.
6. Obtain and process diagnostic images following established protocols.
Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of a formal nuclear medicine program is required.
Licensure:
NMTCB and CNMT certification is mandatory.
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in basic computer operations.
- Ability to adapt to evolving situations and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and independent judgment in task execution.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
