About the Role

We're seeking a self-driven, conscientious, and fiscally responsible Technical Product Owner to drive and execute product deliverables through Agile product lifecycle. As a bridge between stakeholders, you'll understand market needs, possess technical acumen, and contribute to product vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the product backlog, working with the product manager to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Attend backlog refinement meetings to help the development team understand product stories.
  • Communicate progress, roadblocks, and issues to Product Manager or Director and senior management.
  • Own product management Agile lifecycle, including attending standup meetings and collaborating with development and QA teams.
Daily Operations & Support
  • Troubleshoot client issues and create backlog items as needed.
  • Ensure products track against plans and recommend changes where appropriate.
  • Identify key metrics for backlog priority and regularly report on progress.
  • Proactively identify where plans may need adjustments and recommend corrective actions.
Teamwork & Communication
  • Foster and enhance teamwork within the organization.
  • Provide high-quality products and services to clients and colleagues.
  • Consistently promote and model Origence's culture and values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience in the automotive and/or lending industries.
  • Minimum 2 years of software product management experience.
  • Some technical background, with preferred hands-on experience in software development, engineering, or related fields.

The starting salary range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $99,400 - $124,300 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company's discretion on an individual basis.
