POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Housing Support Specialist at PROMESA R.H.C.F., you will play a vital role in delivering essential case management services and housing assistance to our clients. Your expertise will ensure the effective operation of our programs and the well-being of participants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a liaison for housing matters, facilitating effective communication among clients, property managers, and maintenance personnel to swiftly address any repair requirements.
- Keeping comprehensive records of property and unit conditions, promptly reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Delivering case management and documentation services, which encompass crisis intervention, service planning, and conducting tenant meetings.
- Providing support on housekeeping standards, safety protocols, financial management, and landlord-tenant interactions.
- Conducting regular home assessments and drug screenings as needed.
- Completing necessary housing documentation, including rent calculations, inspections, and updates to our database.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent college credits; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in Mental or Behavioral Health settings is required.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- A commitment to diversity, sensitivity, and professionalism in all interactions.
- The ability to address sensitive matters with discretion while maintaining high-quality standards.
