Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to exhibit a strong sense of ownership, which encompasses understanding client needs, steering design and execution, and guaranteeing the successful deployment of scalable and robust cloud applications and services.

As a Lead Engineer, you will engage in high-level product architecture, design, and implementation. You will develop secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable code that is fully testable, comprehensible, and easy to debug.

You should possess a passion for quality and be a creative problem solver. Comfort in taking ownership of features and making independent decisions is essential.

Essential Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of expertise in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of distributed and highly resilient cloud applications and services.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering highly scalable and dependable software and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in modern .NET technologies: C#, ASP.NET/Core, Entity Frameworks, SQL, MVC/Razor Pages, WebJobs SDK.
  • Design / Implementation methodologies: DDD, TDD, Repository, OOP, Functional Programming.
  • Messaging techniques: Async Request/Reply, Resiliency & Transient-Fault handling (Polly), Queuing & Scheduling.
  • Data Management strategies: CQRS, Event Sourcing, Sharding (elastic pooling), Index Tables, Materialized Views.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, scaling, and monitoring ReSTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with databases, storage solutions, and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in building Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • Ability to produce concise and accurate technical documentation and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively research and implement tailored solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
  • Experience in threat modeling and secure development lifecycle planning and execution.
