Job Summary:

As a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft Corporation, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and consumer insights to drive digital transformation. You will engage in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, maintenance, or other integrated solutions of Microsoft products.

Your primary goal will be to promote adoption of technology by helping users optimize specialized solutions, which may include the demonstration of features beyond core functionality, dissemination of technical information on complex applications, and guidance regarding best practice adoption.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in a pre- or post-sales production environment and resolve any complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Additionally, you will coordinate with stakeholders to assess utilization of Microsoft technologies and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and integration of solutions.

You will troubleshoot frontline technical readiness and process compliance to accelerate scalability.

Furthermore, you will advise stakeholders on the installation and support related to systems, networks, or data communications technologies and conduct related product capability assessments and validation.

You may build a mini application based on customer requirements, which involves rapid prototyping or product demonstration.

You may also collaborate with cross-functional teams to research market conditions to gather information and determine potential sales of a product or service or create a marketing campaign.

You may gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.

This role is 100% telecommuting permitted from any location within mainland U.S.



Minimum Requirements:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science; computer engineering; software engineering; information systems; or another tech-related field.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Three (3) years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and migrating highly available large-scale domains Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software application designs.


SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least 24 months of experience in: CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery); and 12 months of experience in: Cloud Development; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/ systems/ services from design through product release; DevOps; DevSecOps; .Net; and C#.


Pay Range and Benefits Information:

The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code: TSKBS17660a), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $168,500 to $198,500.


Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.

In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
