Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Simulator Technician to join our team at SIMCOM International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Training Devices (FTDs) to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and avionics, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair FFS and FTDs to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits, computers, computer networks, visual generation/display systems, hydraulic systems, input/output systems, pneumatics, mechanical, and flight instrumentation
  • Perform customer configuration changes to simulators and FTDs, evaluate and confirm proper post-change operation
  • Monitor simulator performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations
  • Participate in qualification test guides, check and grade test results, and participate in recertification processes

Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics or completion of an electronics technical program preferred
  • Three years' education and experience, including civilian/military electronics/avionics, or related technical experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary

Salary: $47,000 - $80,000
