UofL Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Medical-Surgical Intermediate Registered Nurse. This is a part-time position working 7a-7p shifts.
About the Role
The Medical-Surgical Intermediate Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, including respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems.
- Utilize the nursing process and practice standards to achieve safe, optimal patient and family-centered care health outcomes.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Evaluate care based on evidence, the UofL Health quality model, and patient safety goals.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
