RN-Weekend, 5 South Surgical Oncology, 7a-7p

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our 5 South Surgical Oncology team at UofL Hospital.
This is a weekend shift position, working 7a-7p, providing direct nursing care to complex pre- and post-operative surgical oncology and plastics patients.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex surgical oncology and plastics needs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One (1) year of patient care experience in specialty area
