About the Role
UofL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will provide support to various inpatient units, including med-surg, intermediate, intensive care, cardiac, surgical, and transplant units.
Responsibilities
As a Float Pool Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will have opportunities to expand your knowledge and maintain an expansive skill set with a variety of patients throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associate's degree from accredited college or University
- 2 years of inpatient hospital RN experience
