Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing jobsite productivity, safety, and quality. Key responsibilities include assisting with structured cable installation, pathway construction, rough-in, routing, Telecommunication Room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and bonding.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following company and client policies.
  • Assist the project team with installation activities as needed.
  • Maintain jobsite organization and basic housekeeping, including organizing materials, tools, and equipment, collecting debris, and addressing hazardous conditions.
  • Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
  • Understand the materials and methodologies involved in structured cabling system installation.
  • Ask relevant questions before beginning tasks to ensure understanding.
  • Maintain compliance with customer security requirements.
  • Exhibit professional appearance and behavior.
  • Travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA 10 certification within the first two weeks of employment.
  • BICSI Installer 2 Fiber certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in structured cabling or related construction.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
