Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Specialist to join our team at Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. This role is responsible for providing testing observation on assigned field projects, ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure quality and safety of construction materials
  • Prepare and submit accurate and detailed test reports
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and document non-conforming items
  • Operate and maintain company equipment, including nuclear density gauges
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience in construction materials testing
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification
  • Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification
  • Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to construction sites, often within 100 miles from the home office. Occasional short-term out-of-town work may be required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules is essential.
