The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring the timely completion of capital improvement projects. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
- Develop and implement project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work for capital improvement projects
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution of projects
- Train and supervise maintenance personnel in the use of equipment and chemicals
- Maintain grounds, work, and storage areas to ensure curb appeal and company standards
- Ensure equipment is serviced regularly to maintain safe operations
- Be on-call for emergencies and snow removal
- Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
- 4+ years of experience in multifamily and/or hotel maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proven experience in overseeing capital improvement projects in a multifamily setting
- Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assess and perform preventative maintenance and safety hazards
- Experience in tracking and maintaining inventory and budgeting procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000 to $80,000 per year
