About the Role:

As a Maintenance Professional II, you'll be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of our community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You'll carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and perform other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment and tools as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
  • Inspect and coordinate needed make-ready repairs and services.
  • Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and happy resident base.

About You:

We're looking for someone with at least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management, preferably with unit turns and appliance repair experience. You'll need excellent customer service skills, a strong team player mindset, and a willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires standing and walking or sitting alternatively, with estimated 60% - 100% of time spent on feet.
  • OCCASIONAL need to type, write, and grasp (working at a computer and answering phones).
  • Estimated 60% - 100% need to bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, and reach above shoulder.
  • Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs and be on your feet a majority of the day.

Compensation:

As a Maintenance Professional II, you can expect an estimated annual salary of $48,000 - $56,000, depending on experience, with opportunities for professional development and career growth within our organization.
