Bakery Department Manager

Lowes Foods is seeking a skilled and motivated Bakery Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high-quality products, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities- Provide outstanding guest service and ensure that bakery department staff deliver a positive experience for every customer.
- Drive sales growth and achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the bakery department.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure that supplies are ordered and stocked efficiently.
- Operate the department in accordance with merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
- Ensure that all products meet Lowes Foods' quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Lowes Foods' sanitation and safety standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to bakery department staff to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed to achieve standards.
- Maintain labor budgets and scheduling standards.
- Perform PA announcements and other duties as assigned by management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Knowledge of bakery operations and supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser.
- Ability to work well with computers.
