Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern PRN to join our Joint and Spine Unit team at TriCities Hospital. As a Nurse Extern PRN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with providing patient care, including direct and indirect patient care, patient mobility, and education.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement a care plan.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
