We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern PRN to join our Joint and Spine Unit team at TriCities Hospital. As a Nurse Extern PRN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with providing patient care, creating and implementing care plans, and educating patients and families on healthy lifestyle choices.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient mobility, including turning, positioning, and ambulating patients
- Obtain and record patient information, including medical history and treatment plans
- Translate complex medical terminology for patients and families
- Provide education on healthy diet, exercise, and disease prevention
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing
- Ability to create and implement a personal career development plan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
